Worship Coordinator + D-School Staff
I have an Associates Degree in Sign Language! It was a passion of mine during my high school years and I loved to interpret worship songs into sign language. Four years in a row I competed in an AOG Fine Art competition for high schoolers. I made Top 10 in the nation in sign language song interpretation 3 years in a row!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I am a sucker for a good thrift, Home Goods, or discount store! If I have a spare hour in-between jobs or meetings you can usually find me in the candle aisle at the nearest one.
What’s the best advice you ever received?
“How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.” ® Mickey Schultz (my Dad). This quip has always stuck with me. Mostly because I never understood who would WANT to eat an elephant. But, I figured that wasn’t the point.
Who has made the biggest impact on your life?
I would not be who I am today if it weren’t for my parents, Mickey and Toby (I also wouldn’t exist without them either.) I have watched them love and serve each other in the best and hardest of times. Even in the messiest parts of life, they have walked with grace and humility. Without applause, without fanfare, they have loved Jesus and His Church selflessly and faithfully. What an amazing legacy they are leaving for me and my brothers to follow in!
What makes you laugh out loud?
Cat Videos! I dislike cats, but love cat videos!
