Young adulthood isn't a season to get through, but one to thrive in. This is our time for deep friendships, learning your calling, and knowing God fully!
In Antioch Young Adults we believe that we are on the doorstep of revival; revival in us and revival through us! Jesus calls for us to know Him and make Him known regardless of our age or our place in our life. Our calling is to community and family, and He calls us to have the deepest friendship with Him.
Discipleship is an intentional relationship in which one person helps others become a lifelong, obedient, and reproducing follower of Jesus. This is where iron truly sharpness iron in a life-on-life context, not just in a regular meeting but as lifestyle. Discipleship groups also provide spiritual support and accountability.
We believe that lives are transformed by walking in authentic community. One way we do this is by regularly attending what we call “Lifegroup”. Lifegroups are modeled after Acts 2:42-47 and meet weekly in homes around Baton Rouge. They are the best way to get more connected to our church and go deeper in friendship with people! Come hang with us!
Young Adult Service
On the 3rd Thursday of every month, our Young Adults meet at 7pm at the Guru (1857 Government St.) for our monthly service! Together, we seek God through worship, hearing a teaching from His Word, and ministering to one another. This is also a time to be refreshed and evnisioned for what God wants to do among the young adults in our city!
