Worship & Prayer

Building a Culture

When Jesus came and saw the state of The Temple, He said: “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? (Mark 11:15-17). He turned the tables of those using the Temple for something outside its purpose. They were not embracing what was intended for His house to be. Prayer and Worship should be the foundation, center, and goal of everything we are and do. Everything else is built upon that.We feel the Lord has given us a word for 2025 - He is “Mending the nets.” As we partner with Him, we feel He’s calling us to focus on three main things:

  • Establishing a culture of Worship and Prayer
  • Encountering Revelation and Transformation
  • Becoming a net, a solid and mended net, for the Harvest

When focusing on “establishing a culture of worship and prayer” in our church, we want to pursue what Jesus meant when He said that His Temple would be called a “House of Prayer for All Nations”.

  • “A House” - A welcoming, evangelistic, and multigenerational place of refuge for community and worship.
    • A place to welcome people in rather than pushing them out
    • That is focused on God and others, rather than our own comfort or personal gain
    • Where all generations can praise the Lord together
  • “Of Prayer” - Including all ways we can possibly PRAY to God and all ways we can possibly PRAISE God, both on a personal level, as well as on a corporate level. A place where worship and prayer look like:
    • Union with Him through thanksgiving and praises
    • Communion with Him in a back-and-forth communication with Him
    • Partnership with Him as we respond to what He is already doing
  • “For All Nations” - All people groups and expressions of prayer and worship as supported by the Scriptures.

What we feel God saying is that the beauty of this culture of Worship and Prayer, this “House of Prayer for All Nations”, is in the surrendered hearts of His people coming before Him to Worship, Pray, and Partner with Him.Come join us at the days and times below as we partner together with God to establish a culture of worship and prayer in our church!

Our number one motive in this prayer time is to love on the Lord in Thanksgiving/Worship & (after listening to what is on His heart) - pray unified prayers of faith that bring heaven to earth according to His will! As we invite His Spirit to have free reign, He often surprises us with something new He is wanting to do or release! This prayer time has in many ways become a training ground to step out in obedience in the context of loving community to do what He is asking (prophesy, deliverance, decrees of faith, sharing of scripture, prayers of healing etc).

Isaiah 61 Prayer
